This small deck girder bridge crosses Cherokee Marsh on the north side of Madison.
Built in 1896, this bridge consists of a single deck girder span set onto stone piers. It is approached by a single I-Beam span on either side, which is set on concrete risers and timber pile abutments.
In 1907, the bridge was raised and rebuilt with an I-Beam span. The former stone abutments were converted to piers at this time.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
